2011-2012 Calendar of Appointed Times of the LORD

The first sliver of the new moon was sighted at sunset – Monday evening, April 4, 2011

Thus the "Biblical" New Year has begun. Passover is always on the 14th day of the first month of God’s Biblical Calendar…but it doesn’t always fall on the same day of the week each year. This year Passover is on Wednesday and gives a perfect picture of the year the Messiah was crucified.
Passover – Sunday evening/Monday, April 18, 2011
Feast of Unleavened Bread – Monday evening/Tueday, April 19-25, 2011 (7 days)

* Passover is always on the 14th day of the 1st month. The Gregorian Calendar has the first month as January, but the first month of the Biblical Calendar is in the spring (March/April of the Gregorian Calendar) when the barley is aviv . “Now the LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, ‘This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you’” (Exd.12:1). It’s the month when the Israelites made the Exodus from Egypt after the first Passover. The Biblical Calendar is calculated according to the moon. Passover is always at full moon. As you observe the Biblical Calendar each year, you will find that Passover falls on different days of the week each year ( it may fall on Wednesday, Friday, etc). This year it falls on Sunday evening, April 18, 2011 of the Gregorian Calendar. The year Yeshua died, Passover was in the middle of the week, on Wednesday.

Remember & Celebrate…

In the 7th month of God’s Biblical Calendar we remember and celebrate God coming down from heaven to earth to dwell among His people!

7th month of God’s Biblical Calendar

**Day of Blowing > Sept 30, 2011 (Thurs evening at sunset – Friday morning …until sunset)

**Day of Atonements > Oct 9, 2011 (Sat evening at sunset – thru- Sunday morning…until

sunset)

**1st day of Feast of Tabernacles > Oct 14, 2011 (Thurs evening at sunset –thru- Friday at
sunset)

*Feast of Tabernacles > Oct 14-20, 2011 = (7 days)

**8th day Solemn Assembly > Oct 21, 2011 = (Thurs evening at sunset – Friday at sunset)

** APPOINTED TIMES OF THE LORD – Each of these days are also “holy convocation” (no work days). God
wants us acknowledge this day as special to the LORD and to spend this day remembering Him and His
mighty deeds with our family and others (not doing our regular work on this special day.)

*Feast of Tabernacles is an Appointed Time of the LORD…but only the first day is a no work day

God’s pattern for a day is “evening & morning…” (Gen 1&2), established at Creation!

Enjoy the Feasts of the LORD with your family!
